Happy 5772! Easy Rosh HaShana Recipes

Shanah Tovah!  In case you still haven't decided on what to serve for Rosh HaShana, here are a few suggestions.  Every recipe in this post is easy to make.  Even your most jaded guests will be so impressed they will think you spent days cooking up a storm.

Start off the meal with some traditional Apples and Honey Slices  and dip some challah along with it!

In case you want to try something different: Watercress Soup

In case you are the more traditional type: Extremely Fast Chicken Soup

Honey-Mustard Chicken is delicious enough for everyday, yet elegant enough for a holiday dinner.

But nothing says elegance as tender Orange Cornish Hens.

Corn Pudding Casserole is like cornbread.  But without the bread.  And creamier

Carrots and honey go together like, um, Honeyed Carrots.

Yours guests will wonder when you had the time to grill as well when you bring out the Roasted Herbed Baby Eggplants

If you still have some honey left over, try Fruit Salad with Honey-Lime Dressing.

I lied.  This Apple Caramel Cake is not in the easy category, but you will have so much free time left over after making the above recipes that you will have no problem making this.

Bwahahahahah! Okay ... so you don't have any of this thing called free time.  Get someone to bring a honey cake ... or make this parve chocolate cake instead -- no mixer needed!

L'Shanah Tovah Tikatevu!  May you be inscribed in the Book of Life for a good year.
